Ingredients


  • 1 pound (500 grams) conch meat, cleaned and chopped
  • 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

 

Method

 

  • Prepare the conch: Clean and chop the conch meat.

  • Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the conch meat, cucumber, red onion, green bell pepper, and cilantro.

  • Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Dress the salad: Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.

  • Serve: Serve immediately, chilled or at room temperature.
