Note: This recipe focuses on the preparation and serving of Kakigori. You’ll need a dedicated ice shaver to create the finely shaved ice.

Ingredients

 

  • Ice cubes 
  • Flavoured syrups (e.g., strawberry, mango, melon, etc.)  
  • Condensed milk
  • Toppings (e.g., fruit, mochi, red bean paste, etc.)

 

 

Method

 

  • Shave the Ice: Using an ice shaver, shave the ice cubes into a fine, fluffy mound in a bowl. 

  • Add Syrups: Drizzle the shaved ice with your desired flavoured syrups.  

  • Add Condensed Milk: Drizzle condensed milk over the syrups.
  • Add Toppings: Top with your favourite toppings, such as fresh fruit, mochi, red bean paste, or other desired ingredients
