A Dominican Chimichurri Burger is a tasty twist on the classic burger. It’s a popular street food in the Dominican Republic, known for its bold flavours and unique toppings.

Ingredients

 

Choose your favourite burger bun:

For the burgers:

 

  • 1 pound (500 grams) ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the toppings:
  • 1/2 head of cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup

Method


  • Prepare the burgers: In a bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well and form into four patties.

  • Cook the burgers: Grill or pan-fry the burgers until cooked to your desired level of cooking

  • Assemble the burgers: Place a burger patty on a bun. Top with cabbage, tomato and red onion. Drizzle with mayonnaise and ketchup.
